WillSafe - Affinity's After Care Service
WillSafe provides much more than just safe storage and peace of mind. When you die, if your will cannot be found, it is presumed not to exist - that's the law.
The solution? - WillSafe
WillSafe takes care of you while you're alive..
- WillSafe begins with a series of follow-ups after your documents have been sent to you.
- We make sure you have received them; that you are happy with the content and that you get the documents signed and returned as soon as possible.
- We check that your documents have been correctly signed and witnessed - they are replaced free of charge if not!
- We provide a copy of your will for you to keep at home.
- We supply you with certificates of deposit which you can leave with your Executors, your guardians or your friends, this ensures they know where your original documents are being kept and outlines what action they will need to take when the documents are needed.
- We store all documents in a fire safe, secure environment until they are needed.
- If circumstances do change, your will may need changing too. If you should need to amend your will in the future then this can often be done in correspondence or by email at a greatly reduced cost and very often free of charge.
- To help you decide whether you need to make changes, Affinity publishes a periodical newsletter. This contains vital information on various things that may affect your estate and also serves as a memory-jogger.
- WillSafe clients may call our FREEPHONE technical help line for advice and guidance on changes in legislation and/or personal circumstances.
- If you have access to the Internet, the 'client's only' area of Affinity's web site keeps you informed of relevant changes, and also additional services offered to Affinity clients from time to time.
- When you die one of Affinity's probate advisers gives your Executors free advice
- Should your Executors choose, Affinity can assist with probate and the general administration of your estate. This is quoted in advance on a set fee scale and could save your estate many hundreds of pounds.
- We will help you find an appropriate bereavement counselor in your area should you require it.
- We provide you with all the necessary forms and a free advice booklet should you need to register an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA). We can also assist with applications to the Court of protection, (click here for more information).
